Hello everyone,
I would like to provide you with an update on the important work that my team and I have been focusing on over the past month.
Additionally, I am pleased to tell you that I will be hosting an AMA on Friday, April 14th at 14.00 CET, where I will answer any questions you have.
Here are the key priorities we are working on:
Marketing: We have appointed a new CMO and are nearly finished setting up a full internal marketing team. We will use a precise and clearly defined narrative in all communications going forward, emphasizing our goal of making the digital world a safer place where we can interact in confidence and trust while also ensuring privacy.
This message will be consistent across our website, social media channels, campaigns and PR, and it will be reflected in our focus on use case projects that benefit from our self-sovereign ID, solid science, scalability, and business knowledge. Use cases that require trust, privacy, security, in some situations access controls as well as verifiable data, assets and ownership registration.
PR: We have engaged the experienced blockchain specialists at Wachsman to cooperate with our marketing team on delivering targeted, sharp, and relevant messages to the media about Concordium and its development of use cases, technology, and communities.
Commercial: We have hired new team members with the specific objective of proactively generating leads in various verticals of interest to Concordium, ensuring that our key propositions are communicated clearly to projects and concepts that are most relevant. Our first target audiences will be ESG projects and DeFi projects, with more to follow soon. We are considering the creation of a Concordium Labs division to better support developers and use cases through hackathons, incubation, acceleration, and fundraising.
All of the above efforts will be directed at both crypto native projects and projects with links to the corporate world.
Communities: We recognize the importance of a thriving community around Concordium and will strengthen our efforts in attracting, engaging, and growing our various communities. We will launch a new, multilingual approach soon to reach a wider audience and engage them more deeply.
Business Infrastructure: We have accelerated our process for building out the infrastructure for Concordium. This includes external infrastructure providers, as well as fundamental ecosystem infrastructure such as DEXes, bridges, Launchpad, wallets, and other key infrastructure. We have also engaged an experienced staking expert to support our various staking partners better and help develop new opportunities and functionality here.
Other Blockchains: I have spent considerable time re-engaging and expanding my network in the industry. I want to ensure that Concordium is seen as a constructive and valuable partner for other blockchains, and there are opportunities for cooperating around science, technology, ID, and commercial experience as well as approach to regulatory initiatives.
ID: Self-sovereign ID and privacy are key differentiators for Concordium, and we are pushing hard on expanding our offerings in this area. This includes our own offer of ID features and portable versions that can facilitate new projects and partnership opportunities. A key project for the engineering team in Q2 is the construction of our Web3 ID solution. With it, we will enable anyone to issue verifiable credentials to others. These credentials will be held in the Concordium wallet and can be used to prove aspects of identity to dApps.
Developer relations: We have launched the first version of The Concordium Academy to make it easier for developers to start building on Concordium. This includes explanations, examples, tests, challenges, and support. We will expand the academy with more developer content and services for individual users and corporates that want to better understand Concordium and its specific offerings.
Tech road map: Our detailed tech road map is in place but will be regularly reviewed to ensure that it meets the priorities and requirements of our key commercial target audience groups. Key projects include the continued development of our new consensus mechanism, “Concordium BFT” which promises faster finalization and TPS; Web3 ID and alignment of mobile and browser wallet features plus a lot of smaller improvements.
The majority of these key areas are Q2 deliverables, so we are focused on speed and urgency but also delivering responsible and thoughtful planning and execution.
We believe that we can combine urgency and quality execution and look forward to showing you our progress in the coming months.
Please join me on Zoom for the AMA on Friday, April 14th at 14.00 CET.
Any ideas to think about the token value? some burning mechanism? trust in the token is getting scary due to is low value.
I really hope that there will be more efford like this in the future. We need a real world partner like Geely who really needs and use a blockchain.
